Questions we're asked most often
Straight answers about the platform, the cryptoassets you can trade, how accounts are protected, automation, opening an account, withdrawals and UK regulation.
Croftvex is a crypto trading platform that combines AI-assisted market analysis with rules-based automation. Its models scan price data, news, sentiment and order-book depth around the clock and highlight potential opportunities. You decide whether to act on them yourself or let an automation mode do so, always within limits you set.
More than 100 cryptoassets, including Bitcoin, Ether, large-cap altcoins, stablecoin pairs, DeFi tokens, layer-2 and infrastructure tokens and thematic baskets. Croftvex offers spot cryptoassets only: crypto derivatives such as contracts for difference are not available to UK retail clients.
Connections are encrypted end to end, two-step verification is required on every account and client cryptoassets are held predominantly in offline cold storage. The platform is monitored continuously and tested by independent security specialists. These measures reduce operational risk, but they cannot protect you against falls in market prices.
There are four: staged entry, range trading, momentum rotation and a protective stop layer. Each one runs only within the exposure and position limits you set, and any mode can be paused or switched off at any time. Automation does not remove the risk of loss.
The registration form takes around three minutes. You will then verify your identity and, as UK rules require for new cryptoasset investors, complete a short appropriateness assessment and a 24-hour cooling-off period before your first investment.
No, but you do need to understand the risks. Guided set-up, plain-English explanations and our research library help newcomers learn the basics, and you can start with modest amounts. Only ever invest money you can afford to lose.
You can request a withdrawal from your dashboard at any time, and requests are processed once standard security checks are complete. Bear in mind that in fast-moving markets you may not be able to sell a cryptoasset at the price you want, or at all, at a given moment.
Most cryptoassets are unregulated in the UK, and cryptoasset investments are generally not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) or the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). UK rules require firms promoting cryptoassets to show clear risk warnings and to check that new investors understand the risks. Before dealing with any firm, you can check its status on the FCA Register.
